Campers! We are excited to announce our newly designed summer sports camp focusing on soccer. Most campers can attend a half day, either morning or afternoon or stay all day for loads of fun! The mornings all week will focus solely on soccer, and in the afternoon, campers will have a choice of more soccer, additional sports, and fun games and activities.

Morning structure for a soccer camp by age:
– For 4 & 5-year-olds, soccer camp is from 8:30 am to 9:30 am & costs $75
There is no all-day option for 4 & 5-year-olds
– For 6 & 7-year-olds, soccer camp is from 9 am to 11 am & costs $125
See below for an all-day option for 6 & 7-year-olds who want to stay all day. If they do, they will join the 8-year-old group from 11 to 12 pm and be charged $150 for the morning.
– For campers aged 8 through 14, soccer camp is from 9 am to 12 noon & costs $150

– We will have a popsicle break each day, and each camper will receive a ball and a tee shirt

Campers who play soccer and stay for the afternoon will have lunch from 12 pm to 12:30 pm.

Afternoon information:
– The afternoons are for campers aged 6 to 14 years old and cost $120 per week / $30 a day ~ partial week campers are welcome
– The afternoon session will be from 12:30 pm to 3:30 pm, and campers do not need to attend the morning soccer camp to attend the afternoons
– We will offer a choice of supervised games and activities: soccer, kickball, touch football, baseball/softball, arts & crafts, nature walks, and more!
– We will have a popsicle break each day, and each camper will receive a tee shirt

2024 Spring Skills – Registration Is Open!

Our Spring Skills program is back for 2024, and registration is now open! Designed for ages 5-10, it’s the perfect opportunity for your child to enhance their soccer skills while having a blast on the field.

This year, the program will be conducted by the Maine Lightning Soccer Club. Each session will feature its own technical theme, followed by an element of competitive play to put those newly acquired skills into practice.

Spring Skills

Portland Youth Futsal League Registration is Open

Registration is now open for the 2023/24 Portland Youth Futsal League with the season starting in early January.

This program is run by Portland Recreation, PAYSA, and Maine Lightning to give an affordable option and a great spot to learn additional skills in the Winter. Spots are limited, and are capped at 170 total. The last two years have filled up so please register now. The program runs January 7th-March 10th and includes one hour of foot skills practice and (1) one hour game per week. The cost to register is $160 for the eight week program. This is for ages 5-14 years old. This year, we anticipate 6 teams per age group, 8-10 players per team.
