The team at Maine Footy and their FEAT Network non-profit eagerly anticipates the Tide’s second season in the United Women’s Soccer League (UWS). They extend their gratitude to the Supporters who joined them at matches, enrichment programs, and various events, as well as their corporate sponsors, founding donors, and partners, whose generosity enabled them to deliver the best possible experience with a high-quality group of players, coaches, staff, and volunteers. And they want to make it even better in 2024!
The team is already coming together and has an exceptional mix of players, featuring both familiar faces from last season and new talents, hailing from diverse local and international backgrounds. To get a glimpse of the roster, be sure check out their Instagram and Facebook pages for action shots and details on players’ hometowns and schools. It’s truly exciting to see players representing areas like Falmouth, Gorham, Wells and Monmouth, as well as countries across the globe such as France, Norway, Lebanon, Croatia, and the UK.
With most of the team residing at St. Joseph’s College, where they also train three times a week, they’ll have ample opportunity to give back to the community through mentorship, clinics, podcasts, and more when they’re not on the pitch. Stay tuned for the detailed schedule, set to be released in April, which will include matches at Deering’s Memorial Stadium throughout May, June, and July, along with other exciting events. As the demand for these events, especially at the end of June, is high, they will be giving priority access to Supporters, underscoring their commitment to building a vibrant community around Maine Footy.
Additionally, with each purchase of Maine Footy Supporter merchandise, you gain access to all home games as your merch doubles as a season ticket! 100% of the proceeds from the merch are directed to Maine Footy enrichment programs and donations within our community, contributing to nutrition, leadership, mentorship, confidence building, and more!
Order now to ensure that your Supporter’s merchandise arrives at your home before the season starts. If you miss the March window to become a Supporter, they will aim to have some gear available at the first match. If not, there will be a $20 per person donation on match day. If buying merchandise is significant hurdle, they are partnering with various organizations to make this gift possible.
